By exercising a fervent innovative policy we have succeeded in becoming one of the most important parties in this market and a reliable partner to our customers. We have gained this position by listening carefully to what our customers want and translating these wishes into specific and efficient solutions.
Custom Powders has processed for many years a wide range of different products
for customers from among others the chemical-, food-, feed- , care- and plastic additives industries.
We offer a very broad range of processing services and apply our knowledge, experience and passion to the best of our means in order to provide you with

Who we are
Since Custom Powders was founded in 1979, it has become an established name in the powder and granulation processing industry. It is associated with a high level of quality and an excellent service. We have achieved this position by exercising a fervent innovative policy and listening very carefully to the wishes/ requirements of our customers and undertaking continuous investment in new technologies.
Over the years we have built up a wealth of experience and knowledge and this base is very well maintained and expanded.
Custom Powders biggest strength lies in her experienced and very motivated employees. More than 60% of the employees have been in our service for more than 10 years. All of them are obliged to run through a continuous development program in order to keep their skills and knowledge up to date and to keep them motivated to provide a top quality service.
We have got two production locations, one being in Crewe (UK) and the other one being in Helmond (NL). Both locations are situated in industrial areas with all types of companies around us. We value our surrounding and the environment and try to take a lead role in maintaining these.
We are proud of the position we have in the industry and your quality-, safety- and environmental audits will show you that we work as well to the spirit as to the letter of the conditions in ISO 9002, ISO 14000 and Responsible Care.
Milestones:
1979 The foundation and start of Custom Powders Ltd. In Crewe (UK).
1980 Installation in Crewe of an extra bulk silo and a food grade milling installation.
1981 Start of the relationship with three of our oldest and still valued customers.
1983 Changing towards a three shift system.
1984 Moving to our new factory in Crewe.
1985 Installing our 6th powder processing unit.
1986 Annual production peaks above 10.000 tonnes.
1987 50% of our turnover comes from or goes to the continent.
1988 The factory in Crewe establishes ISO 9002 certification.
1989 Annual turnover larger than EUR 1.000.000.
1990 Winner of a Small Businesses Award / Installation of a second extrusion machine.
1991 Expansion of the Crewe factory with 1000m³
1992 Investors in People award for People Management / Installation of our first compaction system.
1993 Participating in the Responsible Care program/ Installation of a blend-, sieving- and packaging system..
1994 Turnover exceeds EUR 3.500.000 limit.
1995 Purchase and building of the new factory in Helmond (NL)
1996 The factory in Helmond goes operational / Spread over two production locations
we now have 16 Powder & Granulation processing units available.
1997 ISO 9002 succesfully implemented in Helmond.
1998 Installation of a continuous agglomeration system in Helmond (NL)/ Successful implementation of ISO 14000
in Crewe (UK).
2000 10 Employees in Helmond
2001 Upgrading of a number of our units to the latest food grade standards
2002 Purchased our first pelletizing machine
2005 10 years of cooperation with our main Customer in Helmond (NL)
2006 Installation of a Thermal Treatment System in Helmond (NL)
