BULK POWDERS
Bulk receipt of powders and liquids at both production facilities, enables us to achieve rates from 10 to 50 tonnes per day.

COMPANY HISTORY
Founded in 1979 in Crewe by Peter Colyer (MD) the company relocated to its current site in 1984. The move allowed the introduction of purpose designed production suites with each process room associated with its own warehouse. Every warehouse has its own external entrance. This way we prevent cross contamination.
From the outset, the company ethos was to provide the highest quality service to our customers through continuous investment in high quality facilities, equipment and not least in a highly skilled and valued production team.
Our investment in quality enabled Custom Powders to be one of the first small companies to achieve ISO9002 in 1988, this was subsequently upgraded to ISO9001. In 2012 we achieved the accreditation of the first process suite to FSSC 22000, with accreditation of the full Crewe UK site in 2015. We operate four suites to VMD/ GMP licensed standard.
We match our investment in quality with investment in our employees. It takes typically 4 to 6 years training for an operator to achieve full technical competence and training continues throughout their employment.
We invest thousands of hours in training including external accredited NVQ technical training. The investment, the skill and the diligence of our operating staff is a core part of Custom Powders achieving world class performance in care for our customers’ products.
